Privacy

WaterHeaterSpecs is an independent reference site run by Isabella Reed. It has no user accounts, no comment forms, no cookies, no analytics and, at present, no advertising.

Hosting and delivery

The site is hosted by Contabo GmbH, Aschauer Straße 32a, 81549 München, Germany, and served through Cloudflare, which processes requests, including your IP address and browser user agent, to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.

Server logs

The web server keeps access logs with the IP address, time, requested URL and user agent of each request. They are kept for up to 14 days for security and operation, and then deleted.

What stays in your browser

The Heater finder may keep your last filter choices in your own browser’s local storage, so the list looks the same when you return. That value is not sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Fonts and files

Every font, script and image is served from this domain; pages make no requests to other servers.
